Robinson’s knives can be distinguished by the mark of The Running Wolf. To Hunters, this image is of particular significance.
During the Middle Ages, the greatest blades in Europe were made by the Bladesmiths of the German City of Passau. They marked each of their blades with a collection of crudely stamped lines to represent the King of Hunters – the Running Wolf.
The mark of the Running Wolf on a Robinson blade is a symbol of its provenance, and of its strength and efficacy as a tool of the professional Huntsman.
As a true Hunter, you deserve the best, and you owe it to your quarry to use the best.
