After many years of trying every knife on the market and finding them lacking, I decided to make my own. Using deer antlers for handles, I started making hunting knives using various blades. This created some very usable knives that worked well.
I have always put a rifle cartridge in the butt of my knives and this remains a signature feature on all Robinson knives….
A chance conversation with the Knife masters at Flint and Flame, who make the worlds most useable professional chefs knives, led to a development process that has taken 3 years and 15 prototypes.
This collaboration has led to the creation of Robinson knives. Initially starting with the Robinson Deer Knife and our amazing boning knife, we will be introducing a folding, locking version and a filleting knife over the coming months.
